Lee’s Family Way Assisted Living was built on a foundation of service, family, and a deep sense of purpose.
Long before opening our doors, our lives were shaped by leadership, caregiving, and military and public service. We believe every season of our journey prepared us for this one.
Mrs. T. Kenty became a licensed nurse in 2007 and found her calling in geriatric care. An OIF/OEF United States Air Force veteran, she understands firsthand the values of discipline, resilience, and service. Through years of experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, home health, internal medicine, and telehealth, her vision became clear — seniors deserve a setting where they are known, respected, and cared for with consistency and dignity. Her clinical leadership guides the nurse-led structure of our home and ensures care remains attentive and resident-centered.
Mr. I. Lee Kenty also dedicated his life to service. A two-war Gulf War and OIF/OEF United States Air Force veteran, he retired from the Air Force in 2015 as a First Sergeant, leading airmen with integrity, accountability, and operational excellence. Following his military career, he completed a 20-year law enforcement career with the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, serving and protecting the community until his retirement. His experience in emergency preparedness, safety planning, and disciplined leadership supports the structured and secure environment we maintain today.
Together, our backgrounds in nursing, military service, and law enforcement shaped Lee’s Family Way into what it is today — a nurse-led and veteran-led assisted living home grounded in compassion, responsibility, and respect.
This journey has never been accomplished alone.
Our staff are the backbone of this home. Their professionalism, patience, and kindness create an atmosphere where residents feel secure and families feel confident. We are grateful every day for their dedication and commitment.
To our families — thank you for trusting us with your loved ones. We understand the weight of that decision, and we honor it with care and integrity.
To our residents — your resilience, wisdom, and life experiences inspire us daily. It is a privilege to walk alongside you in this season of life.
We remain thankful for the opportunity to serve and mindful of the responsibility entrusted to us. Our goal is simple: to provide a home guided by compassion, structure, and a heart for service.
