Adult Volunteer Program
The Adult Volunteer Program at Lee’s Family Way Assisted Living welcomes individuals 18 years and older who are committed to supporting seniors through compassion, service, and community engagement.
Volunteers provide non-clinical, supportive services that enhance residents’ quality of life while maintaining dignity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
All Adult Volunteers Will:
Meet Florida screening and safety requirements
Work within clearly defined, non-medical roles
Are supervised and oriented before service
Support a respectful, family-centered environment
What Adult Volunteers Gain:

Compliance Statement:
Adult volunteers at Lee’s Family Way Assisted Living do not provide personal care or medical services and operate under facility supervision in accordance with Florida law and AHCA regulation.
Youth Volunteer Program (Ages 14–18)
Lee’s Family Way Assisted Living Youth Volunteer Program offers teens ages 14–18 a structured, supervised opportunity to serve seniors, gain community service hours, and develop leadership and life skills in a safe, respectful environment.
Youth volunteers support social, recreational, and supportive activities only. Volunteers do not provide personal care, hands-on assistance, or medical services.
All youth volunteers:
Are supervised at all times
Follow facility rules and confidentiality standards
Are placed in age-appropriate, non-clinical roles
Help promote dignity, companionship, and community engagement
This program encourages compassion across generations while introducing young people to service-oriented and healthcare-adjacent career pathways
